If you are searching for premium durian desserts in Singapore, Ms Durian is a brand worth checking out. I recently had the chance to try several of their Mao Shan Wang (MSW) products — and this is my honest Ms Durian review based on the tasting, unboxing experience, and time spent browsing their website.
For pet owners, there is an extra reason to note this brand: their Jalan Besar outlet welcomes pets at the outdoor seating area (indoor seating is not pet-friendly). That makes Ms Durian a rare option if you want quality durian desserts and a pet-friendly stop in the city fringe.

Website Browsing Experience
While I did not personally place an order on the website, I spent time browsing it to get a feel for the user experience.
The site is mobile responsive, which makes it easy to browse on a phone without awkward layouts or elements feeling out of place. One feature that stood out is the sticky category menu on the left — it groups product categories clearly and stays visible while scrolling on desktop. That makes exploring multiple durian desserts much easier and gives a helpful visual cue as you move through the catalogue.
Ms Durian also offers islandwide delivery, which is convenient for anyone ordering durian desserts in Singapore without visiting the outlet. If you prefer dining in, they have a physical location in Jalan Besar with outdoor seating where pets are allowed — indoor seating does not permit pets.
Pet-Friendly Outdoor Seating at Jalan Besar
As a pet-friendly directory, PawWhere pays close attention to where furkids are actually welcome. At Ms Durian's Jalan Besar outlet:
- Pets are allowed at the outdoor seating area only
- Indoor seating is not pet-friendly
If you are planning a visit with your dog, call ahead to confirm the current policy and availability of outdoor tables — especially on weekends or during peak durian season. Outdoor-only pet policies are common in Singapore, so plan for shade, water for your pet, and a backup indoor option for humans if the weather turns.
Looking for more pet-friendly spots nearby? The Jalan Besar and Kallang area has several options — including Two Blur Guys, which welcomes pets indoors. Browse our full list of outdoor pet-friendly dog cafes in Singapore to compare seating policies before you head out.

One small detail that genuinely stood out was the cake knife included with the order. It is much sturdier than the usual disposable cake knives and made cutting through the cake easy. I had no issues slicing and sharing the cake, and it was noticeably better than some other cake knives I have used before.

The Penang Old Tree Mao Shan Wang (450g) was also sealed very tightly. In fact, it was packed so securely that I eventually had to use the knife to cut it open. To me, that was a good sign that the item was well sealed to preserve freshness — a detail that matters when you are paying for premium MSW.

Taste Review
In a nutshell, everything tasted very good.
MSW Durian Craquelin
The MSW Durian Craquelin was especially memorable. It was very soft and melted easily in the mouth, which made it really enjoyable to eat. If you want a bite-sized Mao Shan Wang durian dessert that feels indulgent without committing to a whole cake, this is the one to start with.

The Original MSW Durian Cake
The Original MSW Durian Cake was equally satisfying. The texture was smooth and creamy, and paired with the sturdy knife provided, sharing was simple and fuss-free. A solid pick for birthdays, gatherings, or anyone who wants a classic MSW durian cake in Singapore.

Penang Old Tree Mao Shan Wang
The Penang Old Tree Mao Shan Wang delivered the rich and deep flavour that durian lovers would appreciate. Together, the three items gave a very positive impression of Ms Durian's product quality.
Sorry we are in hurry to taste the Mao Shan Wang and my dogs are too excited to wait so I didn't manage to take photos of the Mao Shan Wang. But I manage to shoot one where my dog are posing with the food.
