August 2026 has been a rough month for pet-friendly scoops. Home-grown gelato shop Tom's Palette announced it will wind up after 21 years — the Kovan heartland outlet on Pawwhere and the Bugis shop are both expected to close between mid- and late October. Until then, they are bringing back old favourites for an Encore Collection, and the team has said they are still open to a buyer who wants to keep the recipes going.
Closer on the calendar: Creamier at Punggol Northshore last trades on 31 August 2026. That is the only Creamier outlet in our directory, and the one with a dedicated pup cup. The brand itself is not shutting — customers can still go to Toa Payoh and Tiong Bahru — but those branches are not on Pawwhere, so do not assume the same pet seating.
If either shop was part of your dog-walk loop, go while you still can — and bookmark the other pet-friendly ice cream and gelato listings below.
Most of these spots welcome pets outdoors under shelter, which is typical for dessert shops in Singapore. Parlour Gelato at New Bahru and Sweet Cheeks at Holland Village allow pets indoors with air-conditioning. Sweet Cheeks also has Super Pup Cups.

1. Tom's Palette (Kovan) — go while you still can
Tom's Palette at Block 212 Hougang Street 21 is the listing that started this round-up. The Kovan shop opened in 2024 and became the neighbourhood's late-night gelato stop: inventively local flavours, no preservatives, and a Kovan-only King Pin's Cone with Tekka Market coconut gelato, putu mayam, and red sugar.

Pets sit at the outdoor sheltered area. Weekday service starts at 5pm and runs until 1am; weekends open from noon. It also accepts CDC vouchers.

2. Oddballs Ice Cream (Hougang) — the nearest swap
If Kovan was your usual loop, Oddballs Ice Cream at Yeley Building on Upper Serangoon Road is the closest dedicated scoop shop in the directory. It used to be Kindred Folk, and it now shares the space with Oddity cafe — so you can do brunch, then ice cream, without moving the car.

3. KOOKS Creamery (Serangoon) — lava cookies and a scoop

5. Creamier (Punggol Northshore) — last day 31 August 2026
Creamier at Northshore Plaza II is the listing we already flag in our pet-friendly malls guide — and it is the one to visit soonest. The Punggol cafe announced on 4 August that 31 August 2026 is its last trading day. The brand is continuing at Toa Payoh and Tiong Bahru; only this Northshore shop is in our pet-friendly directory.
What you will miss: small-batch ice cream and sorbets, waffles, coffee from Papa Palheta beans, and a pet menu / pup cup, which most scoop shops do not offer. Pets sit at outdoor sheltered seats. Space is tight, so treat it as a quick stop rather than a long hang. Until closing, hours stay 3pm–10pm on weekdays and noon–10pm on weekends. CDC vouchers accepted. After the scoop, the Northshore promenade is still there for a sea-breeze walk.
- Location: Punggol (Northshore Plaza II)

7. The Better Scoop (Sembawang)

8. Burnt Cones Gelato (Sunset Way, Clementi)
Out west, Burnt Cones Gelato is known for handmade cones toasted to order, plus about twelve gelato flavours — pistachio, 85% dark chocolate, ube, strawberry basil sorbet. There are also waffles, single-origin coffee, and savoury sandwiches if you need more than dessert.
Pets at the outdoor sheltered area; indoor seats are for people only. Open 9am to midnight daily. CDC vouchers accepted.

10. Parlour Gelato (New Bahru) — indoor air-con with your dog
Parlour Gelato at New Bahru is the listing to use when the weather is brutal. It is the only dedicated scoop shop in this round-up with indoor air-conditioned pet seating.
Up to 16 flavours sit in traditional pozzetti counters — Madagascar vanilla, stracciatella, Brontë pistachio, dark chocolate sorbet, plus vegan and alcohol-infused options. A polished pause if you are already at New Bahru with the dog.

- Cuisine: Desserts
- Pet seating: Indoor (Air-conditioned)
11. Sweet Cheeks (Holland Village)
Sweet Cheeks at 24 Lorong Mambong is the dedicated gelato stop in Holland Village. The shop leans art-gallery: a stacked-red-ball sculpture, Korean-inspired styling, and a mix of indoor air-conditioned and outdoor sheltered seats for pets.

- Location: Holland Village
- Cuisine: Italian, Desserts, Western
- Pet seating: Outdoor (Sheltered)
A few practical notes before you go
Do not share your scoop. Chocolate, xylitol, and rich dairy are unsafe for dogs. Ask whether the shop has a pup cup or pet treat. Creamier Punggol flags a pet menu until 31 August; Sweet Cheeks at Holland Village has Super Pup Cups.
Plan for heat. Outdoor sheltered seating still gets humid. Bring water, skip the midday sun, and keep brachycephalic breeds (Frenchies, pugs, bulldogs) to shorter visits.
Policies change. Call or check Instagram if you are making a special trip. Creamier Punggol's last day is 31 August 2026. Tom's Palette has not locked in a final date yet, only a mid- to late-October window.
